How cool is Google Drawings?! I mean, you can do SO MUCH with it. I was creating some extension activities for Electron Configuration for my Chemistry teachers and I came across the hard copy of Battleship for the purpose of reviewing Electron Configuration. I thought, why keep up with tiny little wooden buttons when this can be done electronically?! I searched to see if anyone had already created it, because let's get real - it's always awesome when we don't have to create something ourselves, but didn't find anything. Took about 15 minutes to come up with this little Battleship game. Kids can make a copy of this (File-Make a Copy) or you can push it out as a copy. (Just change the last bit of the URL to copy instead of edit?usp=sharing) Then, they simply sit across from one another on their chromebooks, phones, iPads, laptops, etc and review Electron Configuration.
Feel free to send me any ideas or edits you have to make this even more engaging!
